This ribbon cutting, held at SAFE's office at 208 Glenwood Avenue will begin at 11 a.m. Board members will be present to welcome you with refreshments and tell you a little bit about this organization. SAFE in Lenoir County, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 1985 to meet the critical needs of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Lenoir, Greene and Duplin counties.
SAFE strives not only to improve its shelter program but also continues improving on the quality of services offered. Services include: ourtreach and advocacy programs, 24/7 crisis hotline, women's empowerment classes, batterer's intervention classes, sexual assault counseling and support groups and more.
With offices in Lenoir, Greene and Duplin county, SAFE is available to assist you throughout the week and on the weekends using the hotline.
SAFE's main office is located at 208 Glenwood Avenue in Kinston. The office is open Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and can be reached 24/7 at 252.523.5573
