Kinston's 2nd Annual Beer Weekend
BEER, MUGS AND PINT GLASSES -Potters and Glass Blowers from across the State will be submitting handcrafted and unique vessels in which to drink beer. The opening reception for this beer mug / pint glass exhibit will be April 15 starting at 4 PM with wine/ beer/ and snacks. The Exhibit will extend through April and be a part of our Kinston Beer Weekend , Opening Reception for exhibit April 15 from 4 - 7:30 PM exhibit continues throughout the month.
Suds and Spuds Spirited Palette Class
Community Council for the ArtsWed April 15, 2015 from 6-8 pm; $35 per person; “Suds and Spuds” is the theme – all supplies provided, complete a painting in the class, no experience necessary.
Kinston Downtown's first annual BEER & ART STROLL will kick off the town's beer weekend festival on Wednesday, April 15, 2015. Buy Local Gallery, The Kinston Arts Council, The Overland Gallery, and Queen Street Deli are all participating in this event. Come downtown and travel from venue to venue between the hours of 4:30 - 7:30 PM to enjoy Beer and Art at 4 unique art establishments. Each location will feature a different "beer art" focus with snacks and brew. File your taxes and come downtown to enjoy the craftsmanship of art and beer.

10 am – 1 pm Mother Earth Brewing Neuse River Brews Cruise
Join us in Kinston, NC on Saturday, April 18h for the Mother Earth Brewing Neuse River Brews Cruise! Conducted in conjunction with North Carolina Craft Beer Month, the Brews Cruise is a leisurely canoe/kayak paddle down the winding and beautiful Neuse River. Hop into a canoe or kayak and enjoy a leisurely guided paddle with the current back to The Neusiok Club, which should take approximately 1.5-2 hours. Along the way you’ll enjoy the natural beauty of the river and its wildlife.

The cost of the Brews Cruise is only $25.00, with 100% of the profits being donated to the Kinston Riverwalk Fund. The fund will be used to construct nature trails along the Neuse River between the Neuseway Nature Center and Woodmen Community Center in Kinston, ensuring the preservation of the natural area along the banks for generations to come. Mother Earth and Trophy Brewing Company will collaborate to release a special collaboration beer for NC Beer Month, which will be on tap all of April at Mother Earth Brewery.
Mother Earth will also have on tap a special beer in collaboration with Terrapin Beer Company from Athens, GA for Earth Day!
