Event Description An active, informed and involved Board of Directors is the heart and soul of a successful non-profit organization. Board members determine the organization’s mission and purpose, select the chief executive, establish policies and procedures, and provide proper financial oversight. Board members must serve on committees, uphold strict ethical standards of conduct, and assume critical fiduciary responsibilities in support of the organization. This workshop will help you learn how to recruit and engage your Board members so they become a productive part of your non-profit team. You will also come away with valuable forms and documents that you can begin to use immediately with your Board of Directors.
