Living History Friday; Infantry

Date: March 24, 2017 Time: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Event Description Staff and volunteers will be dressed in Civil War Era attire and describe to visitors what life would have been like between 1861-65. This program will focus on the largest branch of the Army during the war, the Infantry. Visitors will learn about the different types weapons carried by the Infantry, how soldiers lived on the march, and the types of tactics that were used on the battlefield and how they changed during the war.
