Dr. Kirk Neely, Senior Pastor of Morningside Baptist Church in Spartanburg, S.C. since 1996, will be at the Kinston-Lenoir County Public Library for Readings from His Books and a Book Signing from 3 p.m. -  5 p.m. on Sunday, February 5. 

Dr. Neely who has degrees from Furman University, Southern Seminary and Harvard Divinity School has written Comfort and Joy:  Stories for Christmas; A Good Mule is Hard to Find and Other Tales from Red Clay Country; Banjo’s, Barbecue, and Boiled Peanuts and Other Tales from the South; and Santa Almost Got Caught:  Stories for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and the New Year.
