10 am – 1 pm  Mother Earth Brewing Neuse River Brews Cruise
Join us in Kinston, NC on Saturday, April 5th for the inaugural Mother Earth Brewing Neuse River Brews Cruise!  Conducted in conjunction with North Carolina Craft Beer Month, the Brews Cruise is a leisurely canoe/kayak paddle down the winding and beautiful Neuse River.  Paddlers will meet at The Neusiok Club, located near downtown Kinston, at 10am for registration.  From there, you’ll be shuttled to the launch site upriver where you’ll hop into a canoe or kayak and enjoy a leisurely guided paddle with the current back to The Neusiok Club, which should take approximately 1.5-2 hours.  Along the way you’ll learn about the history of the area as well as the natural beauty of the river and its wildlife.

After paddling back down to The Neusiok Club, paddlers will enjoy a guided beer tasting conducted by staff from Mother Earth Brewing to learn more about what makes craft beer special.  The tasting will include some standard offerings from Mother Earth Brewing, as well as special release items and rarities, including 2014 Tripel Overhead Barrel-Aged Belgian Tripel ahead of its official release!

The cost of the Brews Cruise is only $25.00, with 100% of the profits being donated to the Kinston Riverwalk Fund.  The fund will be used to construct nature trails along the Neuse River between the Neuseway Nature Center and Woodmen Community Center in Kinston, ensuring the preservation of the natural area along the banks for generations to come.  Space is very limited, so if you’re interested, contact Mother Earth Brewing by phone (252-208-2437) or email (info@motherearthbrewing.com) to reserve your spot today!
